Nepal is Playing with Namibia today at Kirtipur in ICC world Cricket League Championship.Nepal television is broadcasting the live match. According to Naya Patrika, a national daily in Nepal, International Cricket Council (ICC) had demanded the Nepal Government for a tight security measures for the upcoming WCLC matches in Kathmandu. All the Police personnel will be provided a special training before the matches. Likewise, 11 CCTVs have been installed in the Ground for the first time to monitor the activities during the matches. Earlier, ICC threatened the authority to hold the matches in the absence of CCTV cameras. ICC Asian Development Manager – Bandula Warnapura is satisfied with the security measures being implemented in T.U. Ground.
Meanwhile, there was still unclear sign of which National channel to telecast. The ongoing dispute between CAN and the Government had halted the TV rights process and ICC had to react on to it. They recognised NTV as the broadcaster for the two matches and has awarded the official broadcaster pass.
