Police identified the dead as Manisha Gharti Magar (17). Gharti Magar was alone on Wednesday night as her mother had reportedly gone to Butwal. A police team arrived at the scene after villagers informed them about the incident. Her body has been brought to Prithvi Chandra Hospital in Parasi. A further investigation is underway, police said.
