We already entered to 21st century where there is modernization but some people are living in sameold century and they are following the same old cultures and traditions. Similarly here is one of the painful situation of the people in Indonesia.In this region if one of the main person of the family d!es than the female of that home should cut one of their finger, which is also called amputation. Similarly there is a trend of putting sand on the face of the female. They have the believe that cutting nail people who d!es will rest in peace. Everyone there believes this.
Before cutting the fingers it is ties with the rope for 30 minutes and after cutting the fingers it is burnt out. Government has blocked this tradition but also people there are not ready to quit it. Even today female are forced to cut their fingers in the name of religion.
