Selection of athletes for the South Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship completed on Tuesday. Of the total 14 athletes picked for the championship scheduled to take place in Islamabad in Pakistan on July 15-17, eight are from under junior category and six from under cadet category. Athletes from under junior category are Shyant Shrestha, Subodh Limbu, Bipul Maharjan, Mahabir Chaudhary, Sonu Thapamagar, Sikka Suwal, Lashta Maharjan and Sujata Duwal. Likewise Ritij Joshi, Samyog Kapali, Alex Maharjan, Diksha Tamang, Dikshya Dahal and Anju Suwal are from under cadet category. VIDEO HERE
The selection has taken place in Dharan of Sunsari district.
