Cadres of the CPN Maoist led by Netra Bikram Chand have attacked the Office of Save The Children, Chautara, on Monday night.A group comprising six members attacked the office with petrol-filled plastic bottles. A vehicle (Ba 13 Cha 5914) parked at the office premises suffered minor damages due to this, said police.Meanwhile, issuing a press release, the party said that it party was compelled to attack the office as NGOs, involved in reconstruction and relief distribution after Gorkha earthquake, started involving in making income rather than providing services.The press release states, “The party attacked the office after it made people compel to buy goods from certain shops, relief materials distributed by it was found low-quality, among others.” VIDEO HERE
