In China, the male population's manhoods are in danger. At least that's the conclusion that one would reach considering the series of news that are pouring in.
In a shocking incident, a woman, Han Zhang, 30, cut off the penis of her husband Han Mou after he asked her for a divorce.
Zhang reportedly crushed some sleeping pills and put them in Han Mou's drink. When he fell asleep, she cut off his penis with a pair of scissors and flushed it down the toilet.
Later, recovering from his wounds, Han Mou told China News "I still love my wife. She was 16 years old just like me, and gave me two sons."
Zhang who had been arrested told China News that she was worried that he was interested in another woman. "If he and I divorced, our children would have a stepmother, a terrible thing," she said.
Zhang was released on bail and returned home to look after her husband and children.
Three months passed peacefully. But then she began feeling jealous again and decided to finish the job completely. She injected a box of milk with crushed sleeping pills. And this time, removed whatever else was left of Han Mou's private parts itself.
She then called an ambulance and turned herself in to the police.
Earlier, another incident had been reported where a woman had cut off her ex-boyfriend's penis after he raped her. Later, she killed him with a hammer.
