GULMI: Scores of passengers have been stranded as the Ridi-Rudrabeni road section was blocked by landslide in Gulmi district on Tuesday.The Ridi-Rudrabeni road section has been blocked after the mound of earth fell on the road at two places – Sangure in Gwadi VDC and Phulkyamp in Ruru VDC – due to incessant rainfalls in the district, said Inspector Binimadev Paudel, incharge of Area Police Office, Ridi.This road had been blocked for three days recently due to landslides. Similarly, 600 households have been deprived of drinking water after the downpour-trigged landslide damaged the water pipeline in Musikot and Wadagaun VDCs in the district.
